The most common cause of multiple patient invoices is due to creating a new invoice instead of choosing an existing patient invoice.
- Access Patients > search for and open a patient > Account > search for and open an insurance payor invoice.
- Click 'Transfer Items.'
- In the Transfer Items modal, ensure the radio buttons for Transfer To: Patient and Existing Invoice are enabled. Note: Existing patient invoices must be in Pending status to receive the transfer.
