The majority of doctors that select RevolutionEHR as their electronic health record solution are moving from an existing practice management solution. As part of the setup process, we will work with you to transfer the data from your previous system into RevolutionEHR. The exact data that can be imported into RevolutionEHR depends entirely on what resides in your existing system, the format of that data, and the export functionality of that system.
The following provides a summary of the data items which typically can be imported:
|Patient Demographics||Appointment||CL Rx|
|First Name||Date||Rx Date|
|Last name||Type 1||OD/OS Product|
|SSN||Last Exam||OD/OS Add|
|Address 1||Last Exam Date 2|
|Address 2||Last Exam Type|
|Postal Code||OD/OS Lens Type|
|Home phone||OD/OS Sphere|
|Cell phone||OD/OS Cylinder|
|Work Phone||OD/OS Add|
|Medicare ID||OD/OS Prism1 and Prism2 3|
|Recall||OD/OS Prism1 and Prism2 3|
1 - In RevolutionEHR, exams, appointments, and recalls all MUST be associated with an encounter template that is configured within the system. As a result, in order to import that data from your existing system, we must either choose a default template to use, or you must provide a mapping from the respective types in your existing system to the encounter templates configured in RevolutionEHR.
2 - For last exam/visit date information, we can import the date and associate it with a particular RevEHR template. Note, this is only the date and does not include any exam data. If you are importing exam/EHR data we well, then we will be transferring exam dates/types as part of that process.
3 - Optosys2 does not restrict horizontal/vertical prism information to specific fields which may cause problems when trying to import prism information into RevolutionEHR.
