Associate Manufacturers: Access Admin > Vendors/Partners > Manufacturer: To assist with quick and easy sorting of SmartFlow and non-SmartFlow manufacturers, a SmartFlow icon displays in the grid and a filter dropdown menu is available at the bottom of the screen. This icon indicates if the manufacturer is associated with SmartFlow. By default, any manufacturers associated to the product partners you have opted into (listed in Admin > RevAlliance powered by SmartFlow > Product Partners) are indicated with the SmartFlow icon.
If you do not see a SmartFlow icon associated with a manufacturer, it can be manually associated with SmartFlow by following the steps below:
Open the manufacturer.
Click on the SmartFlow lookup icon.
Select the appropriate manufacturer from the grid and click 'Select.' Note: Click the 'X' beside the lookup icon to remove association to SmartFlow.
Associate your vendors/suppliers with SmartFlow product partners:
Access Admin > Vendors/Partners.
Open the correct lab or supplier section (Spectacle Labs, Contact Lens Suppliers, or Frame Suppliers).
Confirm the lab or supplier is listed. If not, it will need to be added.
Open the lab or supplier.
Enable SmartFlow by clicking the icon beside the "Ext. ID" name.
Highlight the correct SmartFlow supplier from the list and click 'Select.' If needed, this list can also be filtered by category.
If setting up a Hoya Spectacle Lab, select the Lab Location from the dropdown menu.
Enable the SmartFlow processor: Enabling the SmartFlow processor allows you to select SmartFlow as an order processor so that orders can be transmitted directly to our product partners.
Access Admin > General > Locations > open a location > click 'Edit' > access Order Processing.
In the Processor grid, highlight SmartFlow.
In the SmartFlow configuration area, check the box beside Enabled.
Repeat these steps for all locations that will use this feature.
Associate Products: Follow the instructions for Setup-Contact Lenses and/or Setup-Lenses and Treatments.
Log out and log in to see the changes associated to SmartFlow.
It is very important that you follow the instructions for each supplier and input the Account Number accurately.
