An invoice provides the ability to transfer items on the invoice to a different invoice. Within this transfer process is a field that identifies the transfer reason. Balance Transfer Reasons can be added or designated as inactive within the Admin module.
Instructions
Add Balance Transfer Reason
- Access Admin > Data Configuration > Accounting > Balance Transfer Reasons.
- Click the + icon.
- Complete the Name field.
- Click 'Save.'
Deactivate Balance Transfer Reason
- Access Admin > Data Configuration > Accounting > Balance Transfer Reasons.
- Select the balance transfer reason that needs to be deactivated.
- Uncheck the box for Active.
- Click 'Save.'
