The majority of doctors that select RevolutionEHR as their electronic health record solution are moving
from an existing practice management solution. As part of the setup process, we will work with you to
transfer the data from your previous system into RevolutionEHR. The exact data that can be imported
into RevolutionEHR depends entirely on what resides in your existing system, the format of that data,
and the export functionality of that system. The following provides a summary of the data items which
typically can be imported:

* This data can only be transferred if we have a copy of the MVE database. It cannot be exported via the MVE application.
1 - In RevolutionEHR, exams, appointments, and recalls all MUST be associated with an encounter template that is configured within the system. As a result, in order to import that data from your existing system, we must either choose a default template to sue, or you must provide a mapping from the respective types in your existing system to the encounter templates configured in RevolutionEHR.
2 - For last exam/visit date information, we can import the date and associate it with a particular RevolutionEHR template. Note, this is only the date and type and does not include any exam data.
