The Validate Duplicate Appointments feature enables or disables the validation of multiple active appointments for a patient. The following instructions are to edit the Validate Duplicate Appointments feature.
The employee preference overrides the practice setting. e.g., If the practice preference is set to 'No,' the employee can set their preference to 'Yes.'
- Access Admin > Employee/Roles > Employees > search for and open the employee > Preferences > Schedule.
- For the setting "Validate appointment times," click 'Yes.' Note: This preference must be set to Yes to enable the duplicate appointments feature.
- For the setting "Validate duplicate appointments," click 'Yes.'
- Click 'Save.'
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting.
