Prescription print settings are controlled for the practice within the Admin module. Practices with multiple locations can setup each location individually which overrides the practice settings. The location the user is logged into, as displayed in the system's navigation bar, determines the print format setting that is used.
Important: Please be aware that the provider’s Preferred Location will determine the location address displayed on the finalized prescription when it is printed. This may differ from the location the user is currently logged into.
The following instructions are to setup print prescriptions settings for the practice location.
Instructions
- Access Admin > General > Practice Preferences > Additional Preferences > Patients.
- In the Prescriptions section, click the button for the appropriate setting. The following options are available:
- Med Rx print format: Default Format, Substitution Left, Substitution Right, NJPB.
- Contact Lens Rx print format: Default Format NJPB.
- Eyeglass Rx print format: Default Format Contact Approval, NJPB, NJPB Non-Grid.
- Click 'Save.'
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting.
