The Appointments section within RevEngage provides practices detailed information pertaining to Appointment Reminders and Appointment Confirmations that have been sent to their patients using text messages and/or emails.
- Appointment Reminder: The patient is sent a reminder message for the upcoming appointment.
- Practices configure the following:
- Message patient's receive.
- Time frame before appointment message is sent.
- Days of the week messages are sent.
- Contact method, i.e., text, email, call, or combination of methods.
- Practices configure the following:
- Appointment Confirmation: The patient is sent a confirmation message for the upcoming appointment. These messages include a two-way messaging feature for the patient to confirm their appointment.
- Practices configure the following:
- Message patient's receive.
- Time frame before appointment message is sent. Our recommendation is 4-7 days.
- Days of the week messages are sent.
- Contact method, i.e., text, email, call, or combination of methods.
- If the patient replies with the "C" to confirm, RevEngage sends a reply, "Thank you. We look forward to seeing you at the appointment."
- If the patient does not respond, RevEngage sends a reminder communication two days after the first message.
- Practices configure the following:
Access Appointments > Schedule to view a calendar of appointments. Filter options are available for Statuses, Providers, and Encounter Types.
Access Appointments > Message Logs to view a list of sent messages that can be filtered by Method, Reminder Type, and date range.
