RevEngage can send automated messages to patients when their glasses and/or contact lens orders are ready for pickup.
The order status button in Revolution will trigger the messages. For example, when a glasses order has been marked as ‘Verified’ in the ordering screen in Revolution, that will trigger RevEngage to send a reminder to the patient.
Instructions
- Access RevEngage.
- Open Settings > Templates > Appointments > Order Reminders (if needed, you can create more than one Order Reminder by clicking Create New Schedule > Order Reminder > Create. The new template will appear on the left-hand side along with the other templates).
- For Glasses orders:
- The Status Rules section should be set as “Only send this message to Verified orders”
- The Type Rules section should be set as “Only send this message to Eyeglasses and Frame Only orders”
- Hit save.
- For Contact Lens orders:
- The Status Rules section should be set as "Only send this message to Received orders”
- The Type Rules section should be set as "Only send this message to Contact Lenses and Contact Lens Trials orders”
- Hit save.
*Note that in Revolution’s ordering screen, the Notified box should not be checked until after RevEngage has sent its order reminder messages. Clicking ‘Notified’ prematurely will result in preventing RevEngage from sending a reminder message.
