The ability to transfer a patient's credit to a family member is not available until the patient and family member are linked.
- Access Patients > search for and open the patient > Family/Contacts.
- Click the + icon.
- In the Select a Patient modal, input search criteria for the family member, and click 'Search.'
- Highlight the family member.
- Select a Family Role.
- Click 'Save.'
- Repeat steps #3 - #6 to link additional family members.
- Access Patients > search for and open the patient with the credit balance > Account.
- Click 'Transfer Credit.'
- In the Transfer Credit modal, select the person to receive the credit in the dropdown menu.
- Enter the amount of the transfer.
- Select the Tab button on your keyboard.
- Click 'Apply.'
