Sync Computer with Internet Time Server

If the date and time of your local PC differs from RevolutionEHR's cloud servers, some applications display an error (e.g., RevIntegrator, MarcoConnect, RevIntegrator for Imaging). The following information explains how to configure a Windows-based PC to synchronize its date and time with an Internet Time Server. 

Note: If you have an IT department for your practice, we recommend contacting them to assist in solving the issue.

Instructions

1. Access your computer's Control Panel > Clock > Date and Time > Internet Time.
2. Click 'Change settings.'
3. Check the box for "Synchronize with an Internet time server; Server: time-b.nist.gov."
4. Click 'Update now.'
   • If you receive "An error occurred while Windows was synchronizing with time-b.nist.gov," then you might need to choose another time server. 
     • Select pool.ntp.org.
     • A success message displays. 
5. Click 'OK.'
6. Click 'OK.'
