External Provider - Add within Admin

The following instructions are to add an external provider within Admin.

Instructions

1. Access Admin > Vendors/Partners > External Providers.
2. Click the + icon. 
3. Complete all required fields, i.e., Provider Type, First Name, and Last Name.
   • Complete non required fields if appropriate.
   • Access Contact Information and Provider IDs for additional fields.
     • If this external provider will be used as a referring provider on a claim, i.e., box 17 of the claim form, the field for NPI must be completed. See Example
4. Click 'Save' or 'Save & Close.'
5. Log out and log in to see the changes associated to this setting.
