Care Plan Items must be created before creating a Care Plan Template.
Instructions
Care Plan Items
- Access Admin > Data Configuration > Care Plans > Care Plan Item Library > select the category for the care plan item. Note: We only recommend using the categories for General, Recall, and Education. Reference Care Plan Item Categories.
- Click the + icon.
- Complete the required fields. Note: The screen field options are dependent on the category of care plan item you selected in step #1.
- If you want a Recall to automatically generate, it must be associated to the Recall category.
- Click the checkbox beside "Checkout Item" if you want an encounter check out task created.
- Select 'Save.'
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting.
Note: RevolutionEHR has care plan items that are pre-populated. These items can be updated and/or deleted.
Care Plan Templates
- Access Admin > Data Configuration > Care Plans > Care Plan Templates.
- Click the + icon.
- In the Name field, input a care plan template name.
- In the Available Care Plan Items column, click the + button for each item to add to the template.
- Click 'Save.'
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting.
