Customize Prescription Message and Expiration Date

Prescriptions can be customized by:

• Adding a message that is specific to each office.
  • Contact Lens prescription message.
  • Eyeglass prescription message.
• Changing the default expiration date.

Instructions

Custom Prescription Message

1. Access Admin > General > Practice Preferences > Additional Preferences > Patients > Prescriptions.
2. Update the following, as appropriate to your situation:
   • Contact Lens Rx message.
   • Eyeglass Rx message.
3. Click 'Save.'

Default Expiration Date

The default number of months for the prescription to expire.

1. Access Admin > General > Practice Preferences > Additional Preferences > Patients > Prescriptions.
2. Update the following, as appropriate to your situation:
   • Med Rx expiration.
   • Contacts Lens Rx expiration.
   • Eyeglass Rx expiration. 
3. Click 'Save.'
