Create Optical Prescription

RevolutionEHR provides multiple options to create an optical prescription.

Instructions

Within Rx Component

1. Access Patients > search for an open a patient > Rx.
2. Click the + icon.
3. Select the appropriate option. See Example

Within an Encounter

Encounter screen names can be customized by each practice, thus, the screen names in these instructions use the default names provided by RevolutionEHR.

Refractive Test

1. Open an encounter.
2. Access a screen with a refractive test.
3. Right-click on the Import Refraction icon. See Example
4. Select the best option and complete the prescription.

Eyeglass Review Screen - Single Rx

1. Open an encounter > Eyeglass Review.
2. Click '+ Create Rx.' 
3. Click 'View History.'
4. In the Select Rx modal, select a Refractive Test, or an Eyeglass Rx History prescription.
5. Complete any additional fields necessary and click 'Save,' or, 'Save & Auth.'

Eyeglass Review Screen - Multiple Rx

1. Open an encounter > Eyeglass Review.
2. Click '+ Create Multiple Rxs.'
3. In the Select Rx modal, select a Refractive Test, or an Eyeglass Rx History prescription.
4. In the Create Multiple Eyeglass Rxs modal, check the boxes for the appropriate prescriptions.
5. Click 'Create & Auth,' or, 'Create.'
