This article explains how to configure and optimize a microphone for use with AI Scribe.
Instructions
- Open a patient encounter.
- Select 'AI Scribe'.
Select the settings icon.
- Select the Microphone Selection option.
- Choose the desired microphone.
Important Note: Your browser may prompt you for permission to access your microphone when using RevolutionEHR. Select 'Allow while visiting the site' to avoid having to update this each time you use AI Scribe:
Confirm the microphone input is active by verifying input activity. Speak into your microphone and verify that the waveform lines move inline with your speech. If they are moving you have verified the input activity.
Additional Recommendations:
- Use a high-quality microphone to improve transcription accuracy.
- Select a microphone appropriate for the exam environment, such as a lapel microphone, a stationary desktop microphone, or a built-in device microphone.
- Ensure the selected microphone provides clear audio and sufficient range for the exam room.
