RevCheck by ABB Verify writes insurance verification results directly into the patient insurance record. Practices can review eligibility, allowances/copays, and benefit reset dates from the insurance record.
Instructions
1. Open the patient's file.
2. Access the Insurance Component
3. Open the appropriate policy
4. Review all of the eligibility information that has been auto-populated by RevCheck:
- "Last automated verification" date/time stamp and corresponding verification status. This date/time stamp indicates the last time that a verification was automatically processed. Verifications are directly related to active upcoming appointments. Verification cannot occur if no active future appointment is present
- Plan-level eligibility status message. For plans not verified, view error status message, take action to resolve: RevCheck by ABB Verify: Resolve Unverified Insurance Plans
- Eligibility of individual benefits & corresponding reset dates
- Allowances/copays
- For verified plans, RevCheck by ABB Verify provides a carrier-generated PDF containing detailed benefit information for verified insurance plans. The PDF can be accessed in the Policy Documents & Images section of the patient's policy file.
