A test can be removed from an encounter template. However, once it is removed, it will no longer be included on any future encounters. The test will not be removed from historical encounters that have already been used within the patient's file. A test cannot be removed from an individual patient's encounter.
Instructions
- Access Admin > Encounters / Interviews > Encounter Screen Library.
- Select a screen category.
- Select the screen from the list.
- In the Current Tests grid, click the remove icon for the appropriate test.
- Click 'Layout Screen.'
- Update the test layout, if needed.
- Click 'OK.'
- Click 'Save.'
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting. Note: All future encounters that include the screen will no longer include the removed test.
