Recall is automatically set when a Recall Care Plan Item is associated to a Diagnosis in the Plan screen of an encounter.
- Open an encounter > Plan screen.
- From the Care Plan Items tab, drag and drop an item to the appropriate diagnosis within the Today's Diagnoses section of the screen. Note: The diagnosis codes in the plan screen are populated from the diagnoses added in the Assessment screen.
- Complete and sign the encounter.
Additional Information
- Important Note: Recall will only be set automatically the first time the encounter is signed. If a signed encounter is unsigned and a Recall Care Plan item is then associated to a diagnosis in the Plan screen, that recall will not be set the second time the encounter is signed.
- If you add a recall from the encounter, DO NOT make the patient's next appointment prior to the provider signing the encounter.
