The ability to update properties and pricing in bulk is only available if it has been enabled within Admin and if the practice is not a subscriber of a Distribution Center.
This feature is controlled through an Access Permissions setting that is User Role specific. By default, the System Administrator role has these permission settings enabled.
Instructions
System Access
- Access Admin > General > Practice Preferences > Additional Preferences > Inventory > Enable Inventory Management.
- Click 'Yes.'
- Click 'Save.'
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting. Note: You can skip this step if you are also completing the instructions below.
User Role Permission
- Access Admin > Employee/Roles > User Roles > open a User Role.
- Expand the folder for Inventory Module.
- Check the box beside View Inventory, Update Properties, and Update Pricing. Note: The other options for Inventory CAN be checked but do not have to be checked for this feature to be functional.
- Click 'Save.'
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting.
