SKU Generation

This feature provides sequential SKU generation for tracking Physical Inventory. SKUs start at 1000 and are unique to each location. SKUs may also be manually entered. It is recommended to keep SKUs under six digits to accommodate printing small barcode labels. 

Instructions

1. Access Inventory > Products > search for and open a product > Inventory.
2. Add or Open an inventory Item
3. Click the + icon within the SKU field; this action generates a SKU number and displays it in the field. A SKU may also be manually entered by typing within the SKU field.
4. Click 'Save.'
