Follow the instructions for ClinicAid - Registration before continuing.
Instructions
Clearinghouse Setup
- Log in to RevolutionEHR.
- Access Admin > General > Practice Preferences > Practice Claims Preferences.
- In the Clearinghouse dropdown menu, select ClinicAid.
- In the Account ID field, enter the ClinicAid account number.
- In the API Key field, enter the API key. Note: Using your computer's copy & paste feature is recommended to enter this data.
- Click 'Save.'
Practice Location
- Access Admin > General > Locations.
- Open the location.
- In the Facility Number field, enter the Facility ID.
- Click 'Save.' Note: Repeat steps 1-4 for each practice location.
Insurance Companies
- Access Admin > Vendors/Partners > Insurance Companies.
- Open Alberta Health Care. Note: If Alberta Health is not listed, click the + icon to add.
- From the Classification dropdown menu, select AHCIP.
- From the Claim Submission dropdown menu, select Electronic.
- Click 'Save.'
Employees
- Access Admin > Employees/Roles > Employees > open the provider > Provider Details.
- Within the Provider IDs section, in the Registration # field, enter the provider's AHCIP Business Agreement number without dashes. Note: If the provider has a separate business agreement number for each location, contact canadaclaims@revolutionehr.com for setup assistance.
- Click 'Add' from the Provider Insurance IDs section.
- In the Provider Insurance ID modal, in the Company field, select Alberta Health Care.
- Enter the provider's practitioner number in the ID field. Note: The Qualifier field can be left blank.
- Click 'Save.'
- Click 'Save.'
- Complete steps 1-7 for each provider.
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting.
Auto-Posting
- Access Admin > General > Practice Preferences > Additional Preferences > Accounting.
- Allow ERA Auto-posting, select Yes.
- Click 'Save.'
Note: Please do not setup Providers in ClinicAid.
