ClinicAid - Alberta - Referring Provider

The following instructions are for ClinicAid - Alberta - Referring Provider.

Instructions

Setup

1. Access Admin > Vendors/Partners > External Providers.
2. Click the + icon. Note: Search for a provider to ensure it has not been previously added. 
3. Select Provider Type from the dropdown menu.
4. Select Title from the dropdown menu. Note: This is an optional field, however, we recommend you complete this field.
5. Type in First Name and Last Name.
6. Access Provider IDs tab.
7. Click 'Add.' 
8. In the Provider Insurance ID modal, select Alberta Health Care in the Insurance Company dropdown menu.
9. Type in the Practitioner ID in the ID field. Note: The Qualifier field is not used.
10. Click 'Save.' 
11. Click 'Save.'

Claim

1. Access Accounting > Invoices > search for and open a pending insurance invoice > Additional Claim Info.
2. Select the Referring Provider in the dropdown menu.
3. Click 'Save.'
