If the insurance company is paying the patient and is not paying the practice, it is because settings within the insurance company are not setup correctly. Complete the following instructions to ensure your practice receives payment directly from the insurance company (i.e. accept assignment).
- Access Admin > Vendors/Partners > Insurance Companies > open the insurance company.
- In the Claim Information section, ensure the checkbox for Participating Practice IS checked. See Example
- Click 'Save and Close.'
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting.
