Drawing Tool - From Documents/Images

The Drawing Tool is available within the Documents/Images component of a patient's file. It is also available within all tests within an encounter. Access Drawing Tool - From an Encounter for more information. The following instructions are for the Drawing Tool within a patient's file.

Instructions

Upload an Image and access the Drawing Tool

1. Access Patients > search for and open a patient > Documents/Images.
2. Click 'Upload.'
3. Select the location to store the uploaded file.
4. In the Upload File(s) modal, in the File field, upload the image by clicking Browse or drop files.
5. Within the grid, in the line item of the image, click the Edit Image icon.
6. The Image Editor modal displays. Edit the image with the features available within the Drawing Tool. 
7. Click 'Save.'

Access the Drawing Tool of an Image Previously Uploaded

1. Access Patients > search for and open a patient > Documents/Images.
2. Within the grid, in the line item of the image, click the Edit Image icon.
3. The Image Editor modal displays. Edit the image with the features available within the Drawing Tool. 
4. Click 'Save.'

Create a Drawing Using Default Images

1. Access Patients > search for and open a patient > Documents/Images.
2. Select the location to save the image.
3. Click 'Draw.' See Example
4. In the Image Editor modal, select an image. See Example Note: The selected image displays for editing. In the Name field, update if needed.
5. Edit the image with the features available within the Drawing Tool.
6. Click 'Save.'
