Existing appointment slots can be edited, however, not all fields within the slot can be updated. The following fields can be edited:
- Time
- Templates
- Color
- Portal
- Recurrence > End
Instructions
- Access Schedule.
- Click on an existing appointment slot.
- In the Appointment Slot window that displays, update the appropriate fields.
- Click 'Save.'
- In the Edit Occurrence modal, select either "Edit this occurrence only," or, "Edit this and all future occurrences."
- Click 'Save.'
Recommendations: When editing or creating appointment slots, consistency is very important. It is easy to make mistakes when not being consistent. Edit slots with a common recurrence schedule from the same day. Even if a slot is unavailable, it can still be edited. To view all slots on a given day simply open the schedule filter and check the box for "unavailable slots." In addition, it is recommended that you limit the number of staff with permission to create, remove, and edit slots to reduce mistakes or unexpected changes.
