RevCheck by ABB Verify automates the work of checking patient eligibility on the vision insurance carriers' websites and provides the resulting data in the RevolutionEHR user interface where you work. This is how your staff can use it:
Verification schedule
RevCheck by ABB Verify runs verifications on a fixed daily schedule. When viewed from the perspective of an appointment, it runs 3 times:
- 7 days before the appointment
- 3 days before the appointment
- 1 day before the appointment

Starting 7 days from the appointment, staff can view the RevCheck verification data inside RevolutionEHR

How RevCheck handles individual insurance plans
- RevCheck verifies the vision plans in the patient's insurance list. In addition, it also can find some plans that weren't already in the list.
- If RevCheck finds a newer plan for the patient than the one in their insurance list, it will create the new plan and de-activates the old plan.
How staff can track verification progress for the entire appointment
RevCheck verifies and updates the patient's individual plans, but does not update the appointment-level "shield" icon. That remains a manually-updated indicator that staff can set for their own use. The shield's color is determined by which button is selected in the button group shown here:
