The following instructions are to add a current patient as a family member to a patient's file.
- Access Patients > search for and open the patient > Family/Contacts component.
- Click the + icon.
- Select Add Family Member.
- In the Select a Patient modal, complete a search for the current patient's name that is to be added as the family member.
- Select the family member from the grid.
- In the Family Role field, select from the dropdown menu.
- Click 'Save.'
