A duplicate appointment message displays when the user attempts to schedule an appointment that matches an appointment on the schedule of the same type. The message provides the user an opportunity to continue with the action or to decline the action and return to the new appointment to make changes.
The practice and the employee can enable or disable this duplicate appointment feature.
- The employee's preference selection overrides the practice's preference selection. e.g., If the practice preference is Yes, the employee's preference of No overrides the practice and the employee will not receive a duplicate appointment message.
