Diagnosis Code - Delete from an Encounter

The following instructions are to delete a diagnosis code from an encounter.

Instructions

1. Access Patients > search for and open a patient > Exam History.
2. Open an encounter.
3. Access Assessment & Plan > Assessment > Master Dx tab.
4. In the line item for the diagnosis, click the ellipsis icon to display More Actions. See Example Note: The ellipsis icon does not display if the encounter is signed.
5. Select Delete. 
6. In the Delete Diagnosis modal, click 'Yes.' Note: If you receive the following error message, "An Error Has Occurred: The record you tried to modify is associated to other records," access Why can't I remove a diagnosis code from the Assessment screen in an encounter?
