The Refund report displays refund information based on the actual date it was entered into RevolutionEHR. This is considered an audit report.
- As an example: A credit card refund is processed on June 15, with a credit card terminal that is not connected to RevolutionEHR. Within RevolutionEHR, you process the refund on June 15, however, you backdate the refund with a date of June 14. The Refund report displays June 15 as the refund date because it is the actual date it is entered into RevolutionEHR. The Refund History tab within the patient's accounting component displays the refund date of June 14.
- If a refund is voided, a line item displays $0.00 on the original date of entry into RevolutionEHR. If the voided refunded is entered as a new refund, the Refund report displays the new refund on the date it is entered.
