The Validate Employee Hours setting enables or disables the validation of the employee's hours as they relate to the appointment being scheduled. This setting applies to the provider associated to the appointment. The following instructions are to edit the Validate Employee Hours feature.
Instructions
Practice Preferences
- Access Admin > General > Practice Preferences > Additional Preferences > Schedule.
- Click 'Yes' for "Validate appointment times." Note: This preference must be set to Yes to enable the validate employee hours feature.
- Click 'Yes' for "Validate employee hours."
- Click 'Save.'
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting.
Employee Preferences
The employee preference overrides the practice setting. e.g., If the practice preference is set to 'No,' the employee can set their preference to 'Yes.'
- Access Admin > Employee/Roles > Employees > search for and open the employee > Preferences > Schedule.
- Click 'Yes' for "Validate appointment times." Note: This preference must be set to Yes to enable the validate employee hours feature.
- Click 'Yes' for "Validate employee hours."
- Click 'Save.'
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting.
