The Validate Office Hours feature enables or disables the validation of your practice's office hours when scheduling an appointment. It references the office hours of the location associated to the appointment. The following instructions are to edit the Validate Office Hours feature.
This feature is controlled by a practice preference setting, however, the setting can be overridden by the preference of the employee.
- Access Admin > Employee/Roles > Employees > open the employee > Preferences > Schedule.
- For the setting Validate office hours, click 'Yes.'
- Click 'Save.'
- Log out and log in to see the changes associated to the setting.
If office hours are not set for the location, the employee can still book an appointment. Validate office hours should be set to 'No' if you do not want to receive the validation message.
