Rejection message: Payer Responsibility Sequence Code Number cannot be the same as the Other Payer. 2000B.SBR01

The Sequence Code refers to the priority of the patient's insurance companies, (e.g., primary, secondary, tertiary, quaternary), as indicated in the patient's insurance within the insurance component of the patient's file. This error typically occurs when the secondary insurance company has the priority of Primary.

To Correct the Error

1. Access Patients > search for and open a patient > Insurance. 
2. Open the patient's secondary insurance. 
3. Within Basic Information, in the Priority field, select Secondary.
4. Click 'Save.'
