If you receive a claim rejection due to the policy ID number, verify the insurance information.
- Access Patients > search for and open the patient > Insurance > open the insurance company.
- In the Policy Holder field, ensure the appropriate name is displayed.
- Refer to Claim Rejected Due to Policy Holder Name if the information in the field is inaccurate.
- In the Policy # field, ensure the information is accurate.
- Steps #2 and #3 should correct the claim rejection. Click 'Save.'
