Follow the instructions for RevIntegrator for Imaging before continuing with these instructions.
Instructions
Configure
- Launch RevIntegrator for Imaging. (Click the desktop icon or launch from the Start Menu.)
- Click 'Edit' and 'Settings.'
- Click 'Extensions' tab, click 'Optos Integration.'
- An Optos Integration Configuration box displays.
- Export Patient Demographics:
- Click the checkbox beside Enable Export.
- In most instances, the field for "Export Full Filename" will populate the appropriate information. To verify the accuracy of the information, if your office is using "Schedule," the end of the file path should have "\scheduler.exe;" if your office is using "Capture," the end of the file path should have "\capture.exe." If the file path is NOT accurate, click the ellipsis icon and a popup box displays. Highlight the file path that includes the appropriate software your office is using.
- There are two ways to view patient records:
- Review Results:
- To enable the use of Optos Review software, click the checkbox beside Enable Review.
- In most instances, the field for "Review Full Filename" will populate the appropriate information. To verify the accuracy of the information, ensure the end of the file path has "/review.exe." If the file path is NOT accurate, click the ellipsis icon and a popup box displays. Highlight the file path that includes "review.exe."
- Click 'Save & Close.'
- Advance:
- To enable the use of OptosAdvance, click the checkbox beside Enable Advance.
- In the Base URL field, type "https://localhost/directLink.aspx?pid=."
- Click 'Save & Close.'
- Review Results:
- Export Patient Demographics:
- In RevolutionEHR access, Admin > General > Practice Preferences > Additional Preferences > Integrations > Enable Optomap Export > click 'Yes.'
- Log out of RevolutionEHR and log in. The integration for Optos is complete.
- Each computer within the practice must have Optomap configured. After one computer has completed the configuration process, it is possible to "Broadcast" the configuration information to computers that share the same server if they have been setup as "Receivers."
Broadcast
- Log in to the computer that has Optos configured.
- Start RevIntegrator for Imaging (from the desktop icon or the Start menu).
- Click 'Edit,' and 'Settings.' A Settings dialog box displays.
- Click the tab for 'LAN Configs.'
- Click 'Broadcast Server.' Click 'Save and Close.' This action programs the computer to begin "broadcasting" Optos configuration information to all computers that will be setup as "receivers."
- A LAN Configurations dialog box displays. Click 'Start Broadcast.'
- Follow the instructions for 'Receivers.'
Receivers
- Start RevIntegrator for Imaging on each computer within the practice.
- Click 'Edit,' and 'Settings.' A settings dialog box displays.
- Click the tab for 'LAN Configs.'
- Click 'Receiver.' Click 'Save and Close.' RevIntegrator for Imaging closes temporarily while it locates the Broadcast computer.
- Once the Broadcast computer has been located, the LAN Configurations dialog box displays in "receiver mode." Click 'Start.'
- The computer will receive the broadcast settings. When the process is complete, the LAN Configurations dialog box displays a message similar to "SUCCESS: Receiver workflow successfully completed."
- Click 'Exit.'
- The instructions for "Receivers" must be completed on all computers that will be using Optos.
